Notification of the Presence of Asbestos-Containing Materials in the School

Oasis High School has been recently inspected and certain assumed asbestos-containing materials, such as fire doors or roofing materials, have been located in the school buildings. Please know that these materials are tested prior to all repairs or removal.  The City of Cape Coral has an active management plan designed to ensure that the building is maintained safely for all occupants and these materials are being controlled in accordance with the Asbestos Management Program for each City building.

The report listing the locations, quantities, condition of all known materials and the details of the control procedures are available at the school office for your inspection during normal school hours. The complete AHERA Inspection Report can be viewed on each school’s website.
